Recruitment of Experienced Captain and First Officer (B737 & B777) 

 

As Mavi Gök Airlines, we are launching an employment project for our growing fleet, targeting Captain and First Officer candidates with current Type ratings for B737 and B777. The qualifications sought for candidates we plan to employ at Antalya Base are as follow.

 

Captain

 

General Qualifications

  • Being a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye,
  • Residence in Antalya,
  • Have no criminal record or criminal archive record,
  • Male candidates must have completed military service, be exempt (or have at least a 2 year deferment),
  • Have at least 3 years of Civil Aviation experience,
  • Incident/Accident clearance statement,
  • Have not received any written penalties from the DCGA or any previous employers for flight failure or flight indiscipline.

 

Technical Qualifications

  • Have a valid ATPL(A) issued by SHGM/EASA,
  • Have a valid B737 or B777 type rating for at least 2 months as of the date of employment.

 

For Captain applications on the B737 type:

  • Have at least 4,000 hours of total flight experience,
  • Have at least 500 hours of captain flight experience on the B737 aircraft type,
  • Have at least 1,500 hours of flight experience on aircraft types over 27 tons.

 

For Captain applications on the B777 type:

  • Have at least 5,000 hours of total flight experience,
  • Have at least 500 hours of captain flight experience on the B777 aircraft type,
  • Have at least 2,500 hours of flight experience on aircraft types over 27 tons.

 

Language Requirements

  • Have an English language proficiency level of at least ICAO Level 4.

 

Health Requirements

  • Have a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

 

 

First Officer

 

General Qualifications

  • Being a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye,
  • Residence in Antalya,
  • Have no criminal record or criminal archive record,
  • Male candidates must have completed military service, be exempt (or have at least a 2 year deferment),
  • Have at least 1 year of Civil Aviation experience,
  • Incident/Accident clearance statement,
  • Have not received any written penalties from the DCGA or any previous employers for flight failure or flight indiscipline.

 

Technical Qualifications

  • Have an ATPL(A) or CPL (DCGA/EASA),
  • For B737 candidates, hold a B737 aircraft type rating valid for at least 2 months as of the date of employment,
  • For B777 candidates, have a B777 aircraft type rating valid for at least 2 months as of the date of employment and have at least 500 hours of flight experience on aircraft types over 27 tons.

 

Language Requirements

  • Have an English language proficiency level of at least ICAO Level 4 on the license.

 

Health Requirements

  • Have a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

 

 

Pilot recruitments are made according to the company's seasonal needs, and all applications are collected in the candidate pool. The announcement is an open-ended one. The number and timing of pilots to be employed will be determined in the coming weeks. Our Recruitment Team will contact pilots in the pool according to the needs.
