We are looking for a qualified and motivated Powerplant Engineer to join our team at the Antalya Airport Office and support powerplant activities in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Educated in Engineering Bachelor of Aeronautical, Astronautical and Aerospace.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Powerplant Engineer. CFM56-7B, GE90-115B, RB211, GTCP131-9, GTCP331-200/500 experience is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of WINGs is advantegous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, organize, and prioritize complex workloads in line with operational deadlines.
- Familiar and experienced with aviation regulations and decision making
- Positive and solution-oriented mindset, particularly under critical or high-pressure conditions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance on Power Plant–related matters.
- Have strong communication skills and proven problem solving/analytical skills.
- Have good command of written and spoken English.
- No obstacles for international travelling and long-term out of office duties.
- High sense of responsibility with strong resilience to stress.
- Completion of mandatory military service (if applicable).
- Residing in Antalya or willing to relocate.
Job Description:
- Take active role in Continuing Aircraft Airworthiness Management Activities (such as Airworthiness Directive, Service. Bulletin and non-mandatory documents (Service Letter, Manufacturer Documents, STC documents…etc.) evaluation and application.).
- Follow-up of Engine and APU life-limited parts status of the aircraft fleet.
- Monitor the EHM trend monitoring results and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Monthly check the oil consumption rates for the engines and APUs via wings system.
- Engine and APU shop visit management.
- Planning engine shop visit schedule for scheduled or unscheduled engine removals.
- Engine and APU workscope preparation and decision of preliminary workscope with engine shop.
- On-site representation during engine disassembly, scrap review, and engine test.
- Follow up shop visits/table-top inspections/repairs/purchasements and monitoring TAT and taking necessary actions in line with operational requirements.
- Engine records and invoice analysis after the shop visits are completed.
- Participate in creating the fleet reliability reports for the Engines and APUs.
- Prepare Engineering Orders (EO) for Engines and APU and propellers when required.
- Technically, evaluate the documents of the Engines and APUs for leasing.
- Manage the redelivery requirements of the Engines and APUs.
- Follow up new revision of Engine-APU related documents.
- Engineering support to MGA Internal Departments on technical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
